Safeguarding
Safety comes first. Always.
Before anything else, the young people in our care need to be safe, and to know they're safe. Safeguarding sits at the centre of everything we do.
- Trained, vigilant teams Every member of staff is trained in safeguarding and child protection, and knows how to recognise and respond to concerns.
- Clear lines of responsibility We have designated safeguarding leads and robust policies that set out exactly how concerns are raised, recorded and acted on.
- A culture of listening Young people are encouraged to speak up, and they're heard. Their voice shapes their care.
- Working together We work openly with local authorities, social workers and other professionals to keep young people protected.
