Floating support

Support that travels with the young person

Flexible, planned support delivered wherever a young person lives, building the skills and confidence for independent living.

Our floating support service provides planned and responsive support for young people living in their own accommodation or in ours. We work alongside social care teams to deliver tailored, person-centred support across an agreed number of hours each week.

A consistent, familiar face

A dedicated development worker stays consistent throughout, the kind of steady, familiar face that makes engagement and trust possible. Together, they work through whatever a young person needs to move towards independence, drawing on our Independent Living Programme to build practical skills, knowledge and resilience.

Support that flexes as confidence grows

As confidence grows, we regularly review how things are going with the social care team, with the flexibility to taper support as the young person becomes more self-sufficient.
